Extermination Island

About the Series

Extermination Island will be about controversy, about the blinkered, rigid policies of the federal government and its agencies, and the impact these policies, and a view of natural resources that excludes involvement by the public, have on an island that has been an unique wildlife and cultural oasis, ironically adrift on a blue sea. In Extermination Island the viewer will see the price one pioneer family has had to pay when their traditions did not fit with the bureaucratic designs of the government. And more importantly the viewer will see the ultimate price a unique population of wild animals will pay for having earned, through no fault of their own, the designation of “unnatural.” And the hope of the documentary will be that another answer may be found. In time.
