KNOXVILLE, Tenn. [For Immediate Release-Nov. 18, 2014] Great American Country is heading west for its newest original series The Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge Colorado, premiering Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

With amazing mountain vistas, a nearby trout stream, and 7,000 square feet of rustic luxury, the Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge Colorado is enough to make any of America's 50 million hunters and anglers salivate. In eight half hour episodes, renowned outdoors expert Chris Dorsey is gathering a team of architects, contractors, and craftsmen to build an outdoorsman's paradise that includes a cutting-edge home theater, a massive bar and saloon for entertaining, a state-of-the-art outdoor kitchen, a canine spa that goes beyond any dog washing station you've seen, a high-end wildlife art gallery, and more. Throughout the season, Dorsey welcomes celebrity outdoors enthusiasts and personal friends including Jimmy Kimmel, Jim Belushi, Tom Brokaw, Jeff Foxworthy and more.

"As a life-long sportsman, the outdoor lifestyle isn't as much what I do as it is who I am," said Chris Dorsey, host of Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge Colorado. "This house is my dream brought to life. We've got incredible features throughout the home-some you might expect and others that will surprise you. Each week viewers will see jaw-dropping room reveals."

"'Ultimate' is the only word to describe this lodge and series," said Steven Lerner, senior vice president of programming and development for Great American Country, HGTV and DIY Network. "Not only do we see a home of incredible scale go from concept to completion in eight episodes, but we also check out the Colorado landscape and the Western way of life. It's a bullseye, and it's right at home on Great American Country."

Coinciding with the premiere of Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge Colorado Great American Country is giving one grand prize winner the ultimate sportsman's dream vacation in the "American Outdoor Adventure Sweepstakes," sponsored by Bass Pro Shops.
