Denver, Colorado - Officials from Orion Entertainment announced today that Ford's Fishing Frontier with Flip Pallot and Preston Sharpe will return to Outdoor Channel's angling line-up in 2012. Pallot is the legendary former host of the award-winning Walker's Cay Chronicles and Sharp previously starred in the hit ABC's series Extreme Makeover-Home Edition. Both are life-long anglers and natural story tellers, who bring a wealth of fishing expertise and passion to the small screen.
The series travels from Alaska to the Florida Keys and many points in between as the angling duo explores some of the finest fishing found in North America as well as some of the most colorful characters in the fishing world.
"It's just great to see Flip and Preston coming back to Ford Truck's Team Tough Pro Staff and the series, Ford's Fishing Frontier, for a new season," said Kevin Schebil, Experiential Marketing Manager for Ford Truck and SUV. "Flip's deep understanding of fresh and saltwater habitat makes him an absolute master of rod, reel and, ultimately, a trophy catch. And Preston will go anywhere to put a line in the water. They really give you 360? view of fishing today."
In addition to Ford, other leading brands signed on to sponsor Ford's Fishing Frontier include YETI Coolers, Coastal Conservation Alliance, and the Bonefish Tarpon Trust.
Ford's Fishing Frontier is produced by Denver-based Orion Entertainment, the world's largest independent producer of outdoor adventure programming with numerous series and specials airing and in production for NBC Sports Network, A&E, Discovery, Discovery's Velocity, DIY and multiple outdoor networks.
